la couple's first collaboration, and rightfuly so. they spent 3 days in an abondone lot (strathmore and leverling) in westwood, California. the artists build funriture in their spare time while trying to make the place their home. the end result was a video documentation of the public performance. this project becomes the umbrella for many other la couple projects later on which deal with similar issues: the ritual of the everyday, permission of spaces, and the experience of time with another person.
